BMW E9 CSL - Lowered trunk floor for fuel cell

To create sufficient space for a +100L fuel cell and significantly lower the centre of gravity , BMW homologated the CSL with a lightweight lowered trunk floor made out of GRP (Glassfiber Reinforced Plastics).

This lightweight construction accomodates both fuel cell and catch tank and has a perfect fit within the OEM trunk space, after removal of the original fuel tank and the spare wheel well.

We produce two versions, one with a depth of 12,5 cm, the other one with 22,5 cm for Group 5 cars (+ € 100).
