Back on track at the Spa Classic 2025
During free practice, it quickly became clear that the new BMW, built by GDM Motorsport, was quite comfortable on the Ardennes circuit. With a fastest time in Gr. A, the competition was left to chase.
During qualifying, a minor technical problem
unfortunately caused an extra visit to the pits, making a good qualifying time impossible.
For the first race during the night from Saturday to Sunday, the team started from 34th on the grid, so overtaking was the only thing Kurt and Vincent could do. And they did! With a 9th place overall and 2nd place in Group A, the team proved that the BMW 635 CSi is a car to be considered in the overall standings as well.
For the second race on a thoroughly wet track
Kurt again took the start from 34th place. The experience combined with the efficiency of the BMW ensured a quick remount in the strong field of competitors. Halfway through the race, Vincent Vosse took the 1st place in Group A and didn't hand it over until the chequered flag. Finally, the BMW 635 CSi finished in 7th place overall and 1st in Group A, a brilliant achievement with this brand-new car!
